J. Sorin Ispirescu, MD

Board-Certified Pain Management

Board-Certified Anesthesiology

DR. ISPIRESCU is a double board certified and fellowship trained pain management physician. He trained with top experts in the field of pain medicine at UC San Diego, where he completed both his anesthesiology residency and pain management fellowship. Dr. Ispirescu is passionate about looking at the whole person when treating pain, utilizing a combination of the latest and most advanced therapies, along with a holistic, integrative approach. As part of his pain management fellowship, Dr. Ispirescu trained in all aspects of pain management and has developed expertise in spinal cord stimulation (SCS), ultrasound guided injection therapy, as well as lifestyle medicine. He is also now offering the latest and most advanced treatments using stem cell and platelet rich plasma (PRP) injections, promoting natural healing and restoration. This has allowed him to effectively treat some of the most challenging pain conditions, where others had given up.

As founder of Idaho Pain Clinic and co-founder of Pain Clinic of Spokane, Dr. Ispirescu and his team have worked tirelessly to put together one of the region’s only true multi-disciplinary programs, incorporating the most advanced minimally-invasive pain management treatments, along with medication management, nutrition counseling, physical therapy, chiropractic care, massage therapy, and psychological services. Dr. Ispirescu and his team are also actively involved in genetic research in one of the most promising and exciting areas, using genomics to identify and guide the most effective treatment options for each individual patient.

Clint Thome, MD

Dr. Thome is a fellowship trained pain management physician. He completed his anesthesiology residency and pain medicine fellowship at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio (UTHSCSA) in San Antonio, Texas. While there, he was chief resident his final year of residency training. He had the opportunity to train under some of the most highly regarded individuals in the field of pain medicine.

Dr. Thome takes great pride in his medical understanding, exceptional clinical skills and his ability to compassionately connect with patients to provide extraordinary care. He believes in a comprehensive pain management approach that emphasizes a patients physical and mental health in addition to a patient’s pain condition. Dr. Thome is highly skilled in multiple modalities including both ultrasound and fluoroscopic guided injection therapy, spinal cord stimulation (SCS), peripheral nerve blocks, joint injections, medication management, and acupuncture.

Regina Kendra, FNP-C

Regina is a caring and thoughtful individual that strives to provide a holistic approach to managing the health and wellness of her patients. A former elementary math and computer teacher, Regina values keeping current with the latest medical research and education for best practices in Pain Management. She is also a firm believer in educating individuals in her care to empower them in making positive decisions and changes for prevention and health care needs. Her past experiences include women’s health, obesity management, long-term facilities, hospital settings, orthopedics, asthma and allergy. She has a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Computer Science and a Master of Science in Nursing from Gonzaga University. She is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner and is licensed in Idaho and Washington.

Regina was born and raised in Hawaii, bringing an understanding of diverse cultures to her practice. She has a great appreciation for the four seasons here in the Inland Northwest. She and her family stay active hiking, biking, and kayaking in the surrounding lakes and rivers and they also love to volunteer for the annual Coeur d’Alene Ironman.

Magda Sneddon, FNP-C

Magda Sneddon is a board certified nurse practitioner who has earned her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from Georgia College and State University and Master’s of Science degree from University of North Georgia. Her experience includes Family Medicine, women’s health, hospital settings and intensive care.

Magda believes in an individualized and comprehensive holistic approach to health and pain management which, along with medication management and interventional procedures, incorporates physical therapy, occupational therapy, massage therapy, healthy lifestyle and regular exercise. She is passionate about using evidence based practices and empowering each patient, through education, in making positive changes to improve quality of life. Magda is a native of Romania and for the past 20 years has lived on the west and east coast, thus having an understating and appreciation for cultural diversity. When she is not working she enjoys volunteering in the community, going on mission trips, cooking healthy meals, hiking, mountain biking, skiing and spending time with her family.

Leslie Rogers, FNP-C

Leslie is a family nurse practitioner who graduated from Graceland University in Missouri in 2011. She previously worked in St. Maries Idaho in family practice prior to joining Idaho Pain Clinic in June 2018. She grew up in northern Idaho in the St. Maries area, attended Lewis-Clark State College, and received her bachelors in nursing science in 2001. After working as a floor nurse in St. Maries, she worked for Kootenai Health in the emergency department before transitioning into family practice.

Steven Sodorff, PT

Steve is a graduate of Children’s Hospital in Los Angeles and previously practiced in Sandpoint ID most of his career. He is excited to be back in Sandpoint after practicing for the past few years out of the area. Steve was afforded some excellent educational opportunities to become certified in Therapeutic Movement which is a novel hands-on approach to pain relief, orthopedic recovery and return to function. He also gained certification in work injury evaluation, treatment, and work conditioning. Steve also specializes in working with sports-related injuries, sports performance, and concussion management. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family and most outdoor activities.

Rhonda Russ, LMT

Rhonda earned her Associates of Science Degree in Health with an emphasis in massage and hydrotherapy in 2000. She enjoys keeping up to date on new massage techniques and has recently earned certification in Rock Blade soft tissue manipulation. Her primary modalities are Swedish, Deep Tissue, and Trigger Point. Besides being a massage therapist she homeschools her son and enjoys exploring the great northwest.
